He had minor surgery on his knee after consulting a specialist, and has responded well since the surgery and returing to training with The Magpies squad this week.
"Tony is back in training this week, and up to now, has not suffered any problems" said Billy Dearden.
"It should not be too long before he his back in first team contention, which is good news because we need everyone we have in the squad available if we can. He and Richard Holmes should be back in action in the near future."
Hackworth has made only 2 appearances for Notts this season, both brief appearances as sub against Oldham and Cardiff.
