Gordon Bennett! We've signed Gavin!

The man Gary Mills has kept under-wraps for so long has finally been unveiled today with Cardiff City striker, Kenyatta (a.k.a. Gavin) Gordon the man chosen by Mills to fill out the mould of that illusive target-man following his release from First Division outfit, Cardiff City.

The targetman himself
The much travelled Gordon has already turned out for four league sides with his career still very much in full flow at just 24, those being: Hull City, Lincoln City, Cardiff City, as well as a loan spell with Oxford United - with an accumulative transfer bill amounting to an impressive £305,000 for the 6"1 front-man. However, the powerhouse striker is unable to put pen-to-paper until his current deal with the Bluebirds, expires at the latter end of this month.

Mills told the club's Official site: "He's a striker that's been top of my list for a while, and I am delighted to sign him. I've brought him to the club to score us goals, and I'm confident he will do that". Mills told the official website.

"He's a big lad and is the target man who I have been looking for and I am very pleased that he's signed for us despite plenty of clubs chasing him."

However, with now a grand total of five senior front-men all willing to bust a gut to edge their way into the first choice strike pairing at Notts next season, Gordon will really have to prove his worth to Mills if he is to fly where others have fell by the wayside.

A 'who r ya' of Gavin Gordon will be on NCM shortly.
