Free Saturday Coming Up

The Vale game, scheduled for 4th March, was the match Notts were looking to bring forward to December 7th to fill the gap left after Notts were knocked out of the FA Cup by Southport, and Vale by Crewe.

However, Vale were not too keen on the idea, and The Magpies will now have a free weekend coming up.

"It just wasn't possible" Said Notts boss Billy Dearden.

"We tried to sort it out, but Vale were not too keen on the idea. It looks like we will have a blank Saturday now." he added.
