Simon Grayson and Leam Richardson will both come up against Notts this weekend, and both had loan spells with The Magpies last season.

Richardson arrived on loan in November 2001 from Bolton Wanderers and put in a number of impressive performances at right back, especially during "The Great Escape" before returning to Bolton to sign a new contract with The Trotters before being loaned out to Blackpool earlier this season.

He made 20 appearances for The Magpies altogether, without scoring.

Grayson arrived on loan from Premiership side Blackburn Rovers in September 2001, signed by Jocky Scott he made 13 appearances, scoring 1 goal which came during the 4-3 loss at hoe to eventual runners up in Division 2, Reading.

He was sent back to Ewood Park when Gary Brazil took charge of the first team, as Brazil aimed to build a much younger squad for the future and following his return he was loaned out to Division 1 side Bradford City, managed by former Notts defender Nicky Law.

Blackburn eventually released him when his contract ran out last summer and he teamed up with Steve McMahon's Seasiders on a 2 year deal, and has been impressive this season, making 44 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
