With only 32 days left to sort out Notts’ money troubles, Paul Finnity has given supporters another glimmer of hope that things will be sorted out before the 27th May deadline imposed by the Football

Future nearly secured?
League.

Finnity is confident that a price has been agreed with the leading consortium from outside of Nottingham and things will now move quite quickly.

"The simple fact is that it is a long process.

"We are working through it as swiftly as we possibly can and I am still confident of a positive outcome.

"I am hopeful, however, that things may come to a head in two weeks or so."

The bid will have to be agreed with various different parties before a creditors’ meeting can be called, which is the final stage of the process.

Finnity told the Nottingham Evening Post, "I am hopeful, though nothing is definite, that a date for such a meeting could be arranged within the next two weeks or so."

Notts Fans will be hopeful that it all goes through without any further hitches and the Club will still be in Division Two next season.
