Finnity - "We Don't Need To Sell Any More Players"

"The sale of Danny Allsopp made sense financially and because he had made it clear wanted to leave the club."
Following the sale of Danny Allsopp to Hull City last week, Finnity admitted that a number of enquiries had been made about the availabilty of other Magpies players, but Finnity insists that no more players need to be sold on.

Mark Stallard, Steve Mildenhall, Darren Caskey, Nicky Fenton and Paul Heffernan are some of Notts' key players, and interest is likely to have been received in a few of those five players.

"There is no requirement for further players to be sold at the moment, there is no financial need for it." Finnity told the Evening Post.

"The sale of Danny Allsopp made sense financially and because he had made it clear wanted to leave the club.

"But other offers have been turned down. There has been interest expressed in other players and there have been talks about a few players.

"But the club does not need to sell unless it is the right deal for Notts County, and that is what is important. We will not sell unless the deal is right."
