Finally....A Win Away From Home!

The 4-1 win at Cheltenham was the last time 3 points were gained on the road prior to yesterday, with Danny Allsopp getting a brace along with Mark Stallard hitting 2 goals.

After that, there was plenty of suffering for those who watch The Magpies away from home with defeats at Huddersfield, Bristol City, Plymouth, Wigan, Wycombe and Mansfield and draws at Chesterfield, Blackpool, Tranmere, Brentford and Oldham.

Added to that was the humiliating defeat at non league Southport in the Fa Cup in November.

The last two away games have seen Notts pick up 4 points out of 6 against two of the Division's promotion chasing sides in Oldham and Cardiff, so maybe, just maybe, the away form is beginning to turn around like the home form has in recent weeks.
