Fans expecting first win

This week's prediction panel is a little more optimistic, especially considering the visitors will have been given a lift by the appointment of Jimmy Quinn.

Every predictor opted for a Notts win - encouraged by some promising displays so far this season…

Pissedoffmagpie: Notts will secure their first league victory of the season with a crushing Bournemouth in a heavy score-line. Anybody who witnessed the Luton and Shrewsbury games will know that it is only a matter of time before Notts hit gold. Prediction: Notts County 4-0 Bournemouth

Drapes: The time has come for Notts to deliver a win. Plenty of great performances so far but we haven't got the rewards our good football has deserved. I think against crisis torn Bournemouth this will change. We are a better team than them and a clean sheet shouldn't be too far around the corner. I think Hamshaw will grab a solitary goal for the Magpies. Prediction: Notts County 1-0 Bournemouth

The_Pie_Man: Notts are going to recover from their mid-week Johnstone's Paint Trophy woes to beat Bournemouth at Meadow Lane. Mike Edwards and Delroy Facey will score to send Jimmy Quinn's men back home empty handed. Notts County 2-1 Bournemouth

Thenottsaregoingup: Notts are looking very impressive this season and I think this is where we will really kick-off. A good performance from the lads and a 2-1 score-line with goals from Delroy Facey and Myles Weston will see us walk away with all three points. Come on you pies! Prediction: Notts County 2-1 Bournemouth

Upthenotts: Bournemouth appointed a new manager earlier this week, and as we know only too well, events like that can help lift the tension and lead to changes on the pitch. They've not had the best of starts though, so we can only hope it'll take a little longer for them to turn the corner. I think we will finally grab that first win of the season, seeing a good footballing performance pay off. Prediction: Notts County 2-0 Bournemouth
