Fans' chance to play in Richo's testimonial

Richardson will lead the Magpies' record-breaking Championship winning side of 1997/98 against a Nottingham Forest Xl as a reward for nine and a half year's tremendous service as both a player and a manager at Meadow Lane.

And fans from either team are being given the chance to play alongside their heroes.

Supporters have until Friday 28th April to text for a chance to feature in the game, that takes place two days later on Sunday 30th April.

Notts supporters are asked to text 'Magpies' to 88100, while Forest fans should text 'Forest' to the same number. Texts are charged at £1.50, plus usual network costs.

Admission prices have also been released for the occasion, with under-16's being granted entry for just £1. Adults tickets are priced at £12.

The game will kick-off at 3pm and the club are hoping for a booming attendance after another below-par campaign on-the-field.

Richardson's Notts County team will include former favourites such as Steve Finnan, Darren Ward and Mark Robson and be managed by Sam Allardyce.

Forest will be led by Frank Clark and will contain a host of stars including Gary Birtles, Nigel Clough and Viv Anderson.
