Fairclough's fallen face dominant Dale

This weekend sees the first re-meeting of sides in the division.

Notts will be keen to record the double over lowly Dagenham and Redbridge while other sides will be hoping to seek revenge from an early season

meeting.

A lot has changed since this set of fixtures back in September though.

Most notably for the Magpies is the sacking of former 'fans favourite' Steve Thompson.

But one thing remains - Notts are frustrating while the Daggers are struggling.

The messageboard continues to pray the coming weekend will be the one that kick-starts the season - we live in hope.

This weekend marks the start of a busy Christmas schedule that teams will be eager to begin on the right foot.

Win here and and League Two bosses will be enjoying their Christmas turkey that little bit more.

Game of the day: Rochdale v Barnet

Last time thse two met a bore draw was witnessed by the Underhill crowd but what the Barnet fans would give for a clean sheet now.

The Bees have conceded a worrying 12 goals in the last four league outings including a 4-1 thumping at Lincoln last week.

What is more worrying is the dip in form is usually reliable centre-back Ismail Yakubu.
Hatch...Barnet goal threat

A loss of his commading present has been paired with the opening of flood gates.

Barnet are without a league win in eight and while striker Liam Hatch continues to plug away with goals scoring eight in all competitions this season, they continue to slide.

The Londoners could be excused for dreaming of a play-off berth earlier in the term, but of late the side from Underhill look more like relegation fodder out of their depth in the Football League.

They face a tough test in the shape of resurgent Rochdale.

Manager Keith Hill has had an unbelievable first year in chrage at Spotland raising the bar of expectation amongst fans and club staff alike.

The Dale have gone from part of the League Two furniture to one of the divisions main promotion
Higginbotham...Pace machine
contenders.

NCM hear they are just too hot to handle - I'm not so sure. Good side nevertheless.

Kallum Higginbotham has been setting the division alight in recent weeks though. His blistering pace adding to an already sternly attack minded team has been lethal.

Lee McEvilly, Adam Le Fondre and Glenn Murray are all in scoring form while Chris Dagnall nears a return from the sidelines.

An expansive Dale oufit look in great form of late and Barnet will have to tighten up considerably at the back to retain their pride.

NCM Prediction: If Barnet can start well and get organised they may nick a point. If not Dale will put the Bees to the sword.

Elsewhere...

Lincoln City are slowly creeping away from trouble and a whisper from the club says they may even be targeting a late play-off burst.

Saturday's game at home to Darlington will be a marker at how much Peter Jackson can get from his improved Imps.

Ben Wright is in the goals while Danny Hone and Hamza Benherif have been outstanding form at the heart of the City defence.
Richardson...Cracking the whip at Chesterfield

Basment boys Mansfield will be hoping to wash away their travel sickness this season as they visit a wasteful Chesterfield team on another League Two derby day.

The Stags are without a win away from Field Mill this term and take on a play-off pushing side who were criticised by boss Lee Richardson earlier in the week for failure to close out games.

Wycombe will be hoping to finally step up into the top seven with a win over Macclesfield at Adams Park.

Paul Lambert's men need to build on a morale boosting 2-0 win against Morecambe last week by inflicting defeat on draw specialists the Silkmen.
