Fine form: Facey has been finding the net in recent weeks.
Delroy Facey's brute force was missed sorely against Aldershot on Tuesday but he may return from a calf injury to boost County's attacking options.

The powerful target-man appears to be the only forward able to find the net in recent games with both Jamie Forrester and Sean Canham struggling to discover their goal-scoring feet.

One of them can expect to drop to the substitute's bench alongside the eager Ben Fairclough, who will be hoping to build upon his 10 minute cameo performance.

There's now an interesting battle for places at the heart of defence due to Stephen Hunt's inclusion in the starting-11 earlier in the week.

Future Youth Team coach, Michael Johnson watched the midweek 2-2 draw from the sidelines but he will now be refreshed and raring to go.

Goalkeeping duo, Russell Hoult (shoulder) and Kevin Pilkington (knee) are currently nursing their respective ailments meaning on-loan Scunthorpe youngster, Josh Lillis will make his Meadow Lane debut.

Richard Butcher (foot) and Gavin Strachan (hamstring) are the only other casualties.

Port Vale may introduce two new faces as they aim to recover from their 3-1 home loss to Gillingham.

Pakistan international, Adnan Ahmed could slot into a midfield berth, while former Stockport defender, Gareth Owen is hoping to make his first appearance after missing the Blues' clash because of a clerical error.

Striker, Kyle Perry will be missing for the visitors through suspension.
