Pipe (pictured right), meanwhile, is expected to feature for the Welsh youngster's tonight when they take on Latvia.

The pacey right-sider will win his 7th cap at that level, as well as the one full cap the 20-year-old possesses.

"It is good they are still sending people to watch me and are still prepared to give me a chance." Pipe told the Evening Post.

"I was very happy to join Notts but I had feared dropping down a level or two might affect my international chances a little.

"Obviously I am delighted to be called up again, not least because it can probably help me to improve as a player.

"As well as making you proud to pull on the shirt, it is a great experience too."
