Duo get International call

Pipe in' hot
Pipe, 20, captained his native Wales under-21 outfit to a 0-0 draw to pre-European championship qualifier friendly against Latvia in midweek and now, four months after signing for the Magpies - a move that the youngster feared would harm his international prospects, the busy-body defender-cum-winger has been given a recall. He will feature in the Welsh's friendly away to Azerbaijan - a fixture that former Magpies, Michael Brough partaked in not so-long ago.

Henderson, on the other hand, is to turn-out for the Republic of Ireland's young-blood and will hence miss, like Pipe, the Cheltenham clash. He put in a good first-half performance - again like his Welsh temporary team-mate, Pipe - in mid-week for his country and should hope to feature in goal for the Irish against Cyprus (3rd) and Switzerland (7th).

Meanwhile, the Notts youth outfit have been drawn to play their Grimsby Town counterparts in Round One of the Youth Alliance Cup. The game will be played at Blundell Park, on Saturday 2nd October with a 11am kick-off time having been pencilled down.
