Dragons plan roaring Dons double

Last updated : 14 February 2008 By Gary Moss
The last seven days has seen sides at the bottom pick up pace.

Minus Notts County, all of the teams in the bottom six of the division have claimed three points in their last two outings.
Notts boss...Seeing teams winning around him

For the Magpies it is a sign that boss Ian McParland must get things sorted soon and the rest of the division, it is a sign that no game will be easy from here until May.

The sides at the bottom are fighting for their lives as they have shown with some impressive displays over the last week, while anyone above relegation trouble still has aspirations of the play-offs at the back of their minds.

It has always been the way with League Two and it will not change now - if you want to achieve something in this league you need to be up for a battle.

Notts County - ready!!

Game of the day: MK Dons v Wrexham

Wrexham have come a long way over the last month or so.

The Red Dragons are still rooted to the bottom of the League Two table although fans will be feeling far better about the battle ahead, as they bid to save themselves from relegation to non-league.
Sonner...String puller

Manager Brian Little has made wholesale changes in the January tarnsfer window as well as master minding an impressive seven points over the divisions three biggest spending sides MK Dons, Darlington and Peterborough.

Neil Roberts scored the games only goal at the Racecourse Stadium as Wrexham inflicted at the time an embarassing defeat over the runaway league leaders.

The Dragons may be rock bottom but can see light at the end of the tunnel now, just four points adrift of potential safety.

The Welshmen are unbeaten in five taking 11 points from a possible 15.

Danner Sonner has been pulling the strings with recent match winning displays eraning his way on consecutive occassions into NCM's team of the weekend.

Things are looking brighter while the table toppers are seeing their healthy lead at the top eaten into by the chasing pack.
Gallen...Coming good

Darlington and Hereford have nothced their performance up a gear in recent weeks leaving the Dons with a lead of just four points going into this clash.

Kevin Gallen has been in good form of late though taking his tally for the season to eight.

Last time out, a Wrexham win was deemed as one of the biggest shocks of the season so far but now the Dragons may go into this one feeling they can repeat the feat.

An enticing game awaits.

NCM Prediction: Home advantage counts for a lot. Dons win here!
