Didn't Storrie laugh off speculation about moving to Pompey?

Peter told Portsmouth's official website "It was not hard, on being offered the position here, to come on board. The Chairman, the club and the supporters all combine to make this a very big club which is simply waiting to take off. Those three reasons alone had major bearing on my coming to Portsmouth.

The fact we have just managed to secure a sponsorship with Ty, a world renowned company but with local connections, underlines the status of the football club.

I bring with me a wealth of football and commercial experience from my 10 years at West Ham, my time as Vice Chairman at Notts County and having served on the Football League Board of Directors.

I will be working very closely with Milan Mandaric and I am well versed with his expectations and desires for Pompey and it’s supporters.

I know that fans get fed up of hearing this club described as a sleeping giant. But it is without doubt a big club. It is up to us all to work together. The players, staff and supporters need to collectively work to achieve the aims we all know this club is capable of.

The brief time I have spent at the club leaves me in no doubt that this will be the case. My door will always be open to anyone with the interests of this football club at heart. In many ways this club reminds me of West Ham. I am absolutely confident that I can help it achieve the success and status that is so richly deserved and so long overdue.
"

He made a mess of this appointment
So Peter, if Pompey struggle are you going to leave them like you did us and Southend? We'll wait and see, only time can tell. Is he a decent bloke? Or is Peter only in it for the cash?
