Notts

The Magpies are in imperious form at the back of late with just Lincoln City's Jamie Forrester scoring against them in their last five outings.

The addition of Derby centre-back Michael Johnson and a string of superb displays from loaned custodian Russell Hoult have helped County put a seven point cushion between themselevs and the bottom two in the division.

Just one loss in the last six supports claims that boss Ian McParland has

made Notts hard to beat, but with just one win in the same period, it is clear they need to be scoring more goals.

A striker has scored for Notts just twice in the last 25 games in all competitions, with Danny Crow and Ryan Jarvis both netting once since signing on loan at Meadow Lane.

Only bottom side Wrexham have scored less goals than County over the course of the season but with the meanest defence outside of the top six in League Two, it is obvious to see where things have gone wrong for County this term.

Home form has been another concern amongst fans with Notts already sinking to ten home losses this campaign.

Just six wins from a possible 20 at Meadow Lane does not make for pleasant reading.

But recent frm shows things are on the up for the black and whites as they look to extend their unbeaten run to four league games against their fierce Nottinghamshire neighbours tomorrow.

Mansfield

Inability to build a run of reuslts has cost Mansfield dearly this season.

Mansfield...Struggled at Field Mill
The Stags have not won back-to-back league games all season and as a result sit in the bottom two of the division, staring relegation from the Football League right in the face.

It has been a disastrous patch of form for Town of late under new boss Paul Holland despite improved performaces.

Three points from a possible 12 has plunged the Stags into deeper trouble while the spell beforehand which led to the departure of former chief Billy Dearden makes for even glummer reading.

It is is one win in eight for Nott's neighbours and they must starting winning quick if they wish to beat the dreaded drop.

Away form has given Town a glimmer of hope with five of their nine league wins coming away from Field Mill.

No side in League Two has lost more games than Mansfield on their own soil so it is fair to say they will prefer their travels as the season draws to a close.
