Michael Brough is battling to be fit after picking up an ankle injury, leaving the Notts boss with plenty of tough decisions to make ahead of Saturday's game.
Dearden told the Nottingham Evening Post:
"It's hard to know what to do in this situation but, with only 14 outfield players reporting for training, you can't take risks." Said Dearden
"So we decided that we would not push them too hard.
"We have not had any kind of practice match or anything that would involve the risk of picking up more injuries." He added.
