Defensive duo set to miss out

Both of the experienced defenders have been key figures for Ian Richardson's men in recent weeks, with the pair two of the consistently impressive performers for The Magpies.

Ullathorne: Out injured
But the duo have also struggled with injuries of-late and will both miss tomorrow's extremely tricky encounter at Boston.

Reliable left back Ullathorne has again been troubled by his long-standing groin problem and, after playing when not fully fit against Rushden on Saturday, will miss out.

Whitlow - having just come back from a knee injury that saw him on the sidelines for three weeks - again picked up a strain in his knee at the weekend and is certain to miss out.

Captain Whitlow's return had coincided with Notts' defence looking much tighter, not to mention a return to form of young defender Kelvin Wilson.

The news is a major blow to The Magpies' hopes of picking up anything from stingy Boston, who have lost just once at home all season.

All this ofcourse is if the game takes place at all, with heavy snow falling throughout the week. Some sort of announcement is expected from Lincolnshire tomorrow morning.
