The 27-year-old defender has been training with the Notts this week, and manager Bill Dearden has decided to take the former Fulham man on loan with a view to making the move permanent. The loan deal officially begins tomorrow, and he will make his debut against Mansfield on Saturday.

Notts appealed to the Football League yesterday to allow them to bring someone in on loan, with Notts being in administration and still behind in paying some players their wages and bonus money, Notts had to appeal to bring someone in on loan. With the defensive crisis Notts have at the moment, things were getting desparate and fans and Billy Dearden alike will be pleased with the signing.

We welcome Duncan to Meadow Lane, and hope he has a sucessful time with Notts County.
