Deeney Sees Red

Deeney, who is on a two week trial with the Premiership club, had a bit of a nightmare debut for their reserves, dropping a clanger in front of 4,000 fans, who had been there to watch Gazza's debut.

And his second game was hardly much better, Deeney seeing red for bringing down Blackburn striker John Douglas with 8 minutes remaining.

By this stage Wolves were already 2 goals down, but to be fair, Deeney wasn't really at fault up to that point.

But, with Blackburn converting the penalty to make the final score 3-0, Deeney now has very little chance of a move, especially after Wolves signed Ipswich keeper Andy Marshall on a month's loan yesterday.
