Deeney Recalled As Garden Undergoes Knee Operation

Deeney had a 24 hour recall option on his loan with The Tigers, and he will be on the bench as cover for Steve Mildenhall on Saturday at Brentford.

Despite not making an apperance for Hull, Deeney had impressed with a number of promising reserve displays and did gain experience from playing infront of a 20,000+ crowd in Hulls new stadium opening game.

It is not known how long Garden will be out for, but rumour has it he has had the injury for some time. He did not feature in yesterdays reserve game as Greg Smith took over in goal, and had an outstanding game.
