Deeney Extends Hull Stay

Deeney has been on loan at Peter Taylors side for around a month now as backup to Paul Mussellwhite, and been a regular on the bench and in the reserves.

This is something he is unlikely to get at Notts at the moment as Steve Mildenhall and Stuart Garden are above him in the pecking order.

Notts rate the Republic or Ireland U19 keeper very highly, and are very keen to keep hold of him for a few more years yet. Blackburn Rovers showed some interest in him a few months back following a trial, but nothing his developed since.

Billy Dearden see's this loan spell as one of great benefit to Deeney, as he is gaining experience from a good keeper ahead of him and he is getting reserve games under his belt.
