Deeney and Brough extend contracts

The duo have signed new deals that will run into the start of next month.

The news follows that of Clive Platt, Simon Baldry, Tony Barras, Ian Richardson and Steve Jenkins signing extensions to their contracts earlier this week.

This will be welcome news to Notts County manager, Billy Dearden, who will now have Brough and Deeney avaliable for selection for this weekend's clash with Chesterfield.

Both Deeney and Brough, who play at international U21 level for their respective nations, are expected to sign long-term deals when(if!) the club comes out of administration.

The short-term signings have been allowed by the Football League even though the club is still under the effect of a transfer embargo.
