DeBolla departs

Following an initial loan spell from Chesterfield, 22-year old DeBolla agreed non-contract terms with the Magpies shortly after his release from the Derbyshire-based club.

Brought, more permanently, to Meadow Lane to fill the void left by top goalscorer Glynn Hurst, DeBolla (pictured) made an instant impact, scoring a would-be winner on his debut against Torquay back in November

The former Charlton trainee’s contributions, however, were somewhat erratic, with a starting place in the side becoming hard to come by for the fleet-footed front-man, having made just nine starts here. In his two short spells with the club, DeBolla netted only once.

The player agreed to mutually terminate his contract here, signing the release forms shortly after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Peterborough – his last appearance for the club, as he emerged from the bench for the final half-an-hour.

Naturally, Notts County MAD would like to wish him the best of luck for the future.
