Dearden's After Match Thoughts

Karl Duguid gave Colchester the lead before Mark Stallard tapped home just before the break to get Notts level, and earn a share of the spoils and move The Magpies into the top half of the table for the first time since early on in the season.

"We were not in it at the start in certain areas of the field and we could have gone 2-0 down as easy as anything. We always had chances and the equaliser gave us a lift and we were much more like ourselves in the 2nd half." Said Dearden.

"We could have finished up with three points, although it might have been none at all." He added.
