Dearden: We must keep going

With the Magpies now unbeaten in 3 games Dearden has spoken to the Nottingham Evening Post about what he wants from his team over the next two games.

With Notts securing their first win of the season on Saturday against Chesterfield, Dearden is hoping that Notts can pull clear of the relegation zone.

The win means that Notts are now off the bottom of the table and Billy Dearden thinks that is the least his side deserved.

"It's nice to be talking about a win for a change, it has been a long time coming.

But I thought it was more than deserved. It was a battle and we had to show a lot of determination. We were the better side."

Dearden is demanding that the wait for the next win is not as long.

"We are off the bottom of the table but we want to keep going.

We need to keep our momentum going and with two home games, I will expect us to do that."

Dearden also wanted to thank the fans.

"They have been great ever since I came to the club. I am glad that we have given them a win to celebrate"
