Darren Caskey, Ian Richardson and Richard Liburd are all suspended for the clash with Carlton Palmer's Stockport next Saturday, and means changes will have to be made to the side.

All 3 serve 1 match bans, and all return for the home game with Crewe days later.

"I will be expecting the lads who come into the side to make their mark," Dearden told the Evening Post.

"We need players to make a place in the team their own.

"That is what we will be telling them next week.

"We must have better performances and the situation we are in is far from ideal because we have not had much chance to build any consistency this season and we will obviously have to do more chopping and changing."

Also there is good news on the injury front, with both Nick Fenton and Paul Heffernan likely to be fit for next weekends game.
