Dearden To Focus On Defence

With Notts without a game until next week, Dearden has continued to work hard with the players as he aims to help Notts get back on the winning trail.

The Magpies have kept just ONE clean sheet since August 26th, and in the last few games Dearden has operated with the 3-5-2 formation and Notts have looked much more solid, despite not picking up those wins.

The enforced break comes after Notts crashed out of the FA Cup to non league Southport last month, and the inability to bring the clash with Port Vale forward as Vale were not keen on the idea.

Dearden's players were due for a double training session today, with the main focus on defence. As there is no game tomorrow the players will have the weekend off before reporting back on Monday and will be working hard all week ahead of the QPR game.
