At least one of the players is likely to be a winger, with Dearden desparate to add wide players to his side with no natural wingers on the books at the moment following the departures of Marcel Cas last season and Richard Liburd in the summer.
"I have spoken to a number of players and have reached verbal agreements with them about joining Notts County," Dearden told the Evening Post.
"It would just be a case of agreeing the final details and signing on the dotted line.
"But we can't do that at the moment, until we are out of administration.
"And I am in an awkward position otherwise.
"I am fully aware that if another club were to come in for them, they could go there." He added.
