The Magpies ran out 2-0 winners with strikers Paul Heffernan and Tony Hackworth on the scoresheet.

"The lads worked very hard last night and could easily have had more goals." Said Dearden

"Having said that, Boston created a number of chances themselves but were unable to stick them away.

"Liburd had 80 minutes, Nicholson 70 minutes and it was great to see Hackworth on the scoresheet."
The Magpies manager added.

Meanwhile the reserve win takes Notts' reserve side up to 4th in the league, with a game in hand on 3rd placed Hartlepool United, while Boston remain one place off the bottom, with Scarborough propping up the rest.
