Dearden On Winger Target

Baldry, 27, is available on a free transfer after being released by relegated Huddersfield Town was set to join Telford United after verbally agreeing a deal, but is now training with The Magpies.

A deal has been agreed with the winger, but until Notts come out of administration he is unable to sign and could move to another club should he accept their offer.

"Simon has come to train with us this week and we are hoping that it will become a permanent move," Dearden told the Evening Post..

"That is why we have asked him to come to the club.

"The right side of midfield is one of the areas we were looking at strengthening.

"And Simon is the sort of player who would do a job for us.


"We have agreed things verbally. But, like two or three other players, we are now relying on him being patient and having enough trust to stick by us until the situation is resolved." He added.
