Notts have won their last 2 matches at Meadow Lane after a bad run of results at home, and the Notts boss has praised the fans for their efforts of late.

"I have to say the supporters have been fantastic to us in recent times," Dearden told the Evening Post.

"We all know things have not always gone how we would like on the pitch, but crowds keep going up and the support has been great.

"Despite the problems the average gate is sometimes a 1,000 more than last season.

"And you have to hope that it will continue.

"The support in the last two home matches - which we have won - has made a significant difference.

"Certainly against Barnsley, they gave us belief that we could come back from behind - and we did."
