Dearden: Gutted

Goals from Darren Caskey and Clive Platt had responded to Aaron Wilbraham's opener and looked set to give Notts their third league win of the season.

But a corner routine straight from the training ground led to Stockport's Jim Goodwin riffling home an undeserved late equaliser.

"I'm very disappointed we didn't get three points," Dearden said. "It was just bad defending and we should have done better from the corner to stop their second goal.

"I thought we fully deserved three points, but we've got a point and can take lots of positives from the game."
