Brough came on for the last half an hour, and hit the bar with a rasping 25 yard drive, and gave a good performance by all accounts.

Dearden was pleased for Brough, a big boost for him and a good return for the hard work he has put in this season.

"I was pleased for the lad, apparently he did well," he said. "Hopefully, it will give him a great deal of confidence." Dearden told the Evening Post.

"He has done well coming into the side this season and, hopefully, this experience will help him continue that."

Brough will arrive back in the UK tomorrow, and Dearden is concerned he maybe be fatigued after the long flight. Notts need all the players they can get for Saturdays vital clash with Colchester and Brough, who has performed with greater consistancy this season, is showing to be a vital member of the squad.

"It is a worry," said Dearden. "The journey is obviously going to be quite energy-sapping for the lad.

"But we will have to hope that he is not too bad.

"He arrives back in the country tomorrow morning, but we will have to have a careful look at him in training on Friday."
