Dearden Delight As Notts Keep Clean Sheet

Speaking to Radio Nottingham after the game, Dearden said:

"We gave Bristol City too much respect and were poor in the first half. We were frightened to express ourselves but started to apply pressure in the second half and I was pleased with how we played.

"It's a fine win but we cannot afford to take our foot off the pedal. We could have gone into the bottom four had we lost and I reckon we need another five wins if we're going to survive."

"I was pleased for the defence, a first clean sheet in a long time and they deserved it. We defended well, and I'm delighted for Stevie in goal as well."
