"The players simply have to get tougher with each other," Dearden told the Evening Post

"If someone's not doing their job properly, and somebody else spots that, I don't want them to be frightened of saying so.

"For my money, the players are far too nice to each other."

The Magpies have registered just ONE home win so far this season, that coming on October 19th then Notts beat Northampton Town 2-1 thanks to a late Paul Heffernan goal.

Deardens side have won just THREE games this season, the lowest in Division 2 with basement boys Mansfield even winning more games.

Ahead of the match with QPR tomorrow, a side in a bad run of form themselves, Dearden belives Notts need to tighten up at the back quickly;

"We've conceded far too many soft goals at Meadow Lane and that problem needs to be sorted out.

"We've no chance of winning games until we learn to tighten up at the back.

"Basically, we need to sharpen up in all areas.

"There's still plenty of games to go and plenty of time to put things right.

"But we need to start putting things right fast."
Dearden added.
