Notts County's longest serving player, centre back Mike Edwards, will be staying at the club - at least until the loan window re-opens in a week's time. Edwards, who has fallen out of favour following the signing of Damion Stewart and return of Liam Chilvers, was reported to have two teams fighting over his signature, but it appears as though neither have been able to complete a deal with Notts and Edwards in time.
