Gary Mills has said that the striker was out on the Friday night before the home match against Plymouth Argyle, and that is unacceptable. Naughty boy.
Mills told the official site: "He (Curier) has broken the rules and it has cost him his job.
"Mikael was out last Friday night, on the eve of the home match against Plymouth Argyle and tht is not acceptable. He knew the rules when he came to the club and he has broken them and I will not tolerate that from a professional footballer."
He added: "..but Mikael has played his last game for Notts County."
For a man who's evoked more debate from fans in just under 3 weeks at the club then most players to in a year, you didn't expect Mikael to make a normal exit, did you?
The Frenchman- believed to be a bit of a fruitcake- seems intent on wasting the talent he has, as already witnessed by the amount of clubs he has played for over his short career. It's certainly a shame, he has certainly taken the weight off Paul Heffernan's shoulders no end, but you have to say it's refreshing to see a manager take this firm attitude.
We'll wait to see if Curier is given another chance in professional football, maybe a trip back to his homeland would be best.
