The manager hopes to follow on from the 1-0 win against Stevenage at the weekend with another good performance.

"The whole place has been a lot more buoyant over the last few weeks," he said.

"I said to the players before the game on Saturday that the good will and the good nature will only continue as long as you keep putting the performances in.

"If you keep doing that and keep doing well, then you have more chance of getting results.

"The clean sheets have certainly helped,

"They are pleasing and there are different ways to defend.

"If you have more possession and more domination of the ball then you have less defending to do.

"If you keep whacking it forward then the only thing that will happen is the ball will keep coming back at you.

"We choose to defend by trying to keep possession of the ball.

"Sometimes we have to pass back and I get frustrated by it at times.

"That's something we will have to look at, but it means that Scott Loach has less work to do.

"At times when the ball comes in our box, the midfielders and defenders have to head it which is what they have certainly done.

"We feel we are making progress and as a coach or manager, you need performances and if you get them you know you are on the right track.

"We are getting one bit right and that's got to stay right, before we look at the final third of the pitch."
