Clarke joins Blackpool

Notts County target Billy Clarke has today signed for Championship side Blackpool, ending speculation linking him with a move to Meadow Lane. Ian McParland made the surprise news of announcing his intentions to move for Clarke to supporters, but unfortuantely he hasn't been able to land his man, with Clarke signing a two-year deal with Ian Holloway's side.

McParland will now be turning his attention to other targets, including two players who he had 'positive' meetings with yesterday, although with those reported to have been a defender and a mdifielder, the need for at least one striker who knows how to score remains imperative.
