Chilaka started in Hinckley's 0-0 draw at Worksop recently, and has now finalised details of the switch, with Notts having a 24-hour call-back on the 19-year-old.

Versatile Chilaka signed a one-year professional deal with the Magpies in the summer, but has been limited to just one first-team appearence - that coming in the 5-2 LDV Vans Trophy defeat at Northampton Town.

A powerfully-built midfielder, Chilaka impressed as a right back in that fixture, with many supporters believing that 'Chib' has been unlucky not to feature in any senior squads since.

"It is the next step for Chib," Assistant manager Ross MacLaren told the Official website.

"He has done well this season and did OK on his debut, but now he needs to be playing games and we see this loan as a big part of his development process.

"We have a recall on him in case we need to call him back and we will be checking on his progress throughout."

Hinckley are managed by former Magpie Dean Thomas - a man who has been frequently linked with the manager's chair at Meadow Lane.
