Notts captain Caskey was put in the reserve side following a lacklusture display at Huddersfield Town last week, when Notts were well beaten 3-0 at The McAlpine.

Notts boss Billy Dearden felt quite a few player were just "taking an easy ride", and decided to blood Caskey, Marcel Cas and Richard Liburd in the reserves game against Hartlepool yesterday, which Notts lost 1-0.

However, Caskey picked up a hamstring injury during the first half and was replaced at half time and could be set to miss the visit of Northampton Town on Saturday.

Caskey also picked up his 5th booking of the season in the reserves yesterday, meaning a 1 match ban for the former Reading midfielder. He is likely to miss Notts' trip to Bristol City on November 2nd.

Billy Dearden will be less than impressed with Caskey picking up a ban, as 4 of his 5 bookings have come from him mouthing back at the Referee.
