Caskey signs on

Caskey- who spent a turbulent two and three-quarter seasons at Meadow Lane- now finds himself in the postion he was in this summer, before big-spending Conference South outfit Hornchurch snapped him up.

The man, the legend..
The 30-year-old, who was infamous through-out the lower leagues for his ever-expanding waist line during his time here, gave an interview in Monday's edition of The Daily Telegraph all about his current 'plight'.

It explained how the former Tottenham man had captained an England under-18 side to the European Championship title; A side that featured Sol Campbell, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Robbie Fowler- players that went on to become regulars for their country.

But, while Caskey has far more ability than the majority of players in this league, it appears the penny has still not dropped and the creative maestro- who was reportedly earning around £2.3k a week at Hornchurch- now once again finds himself staring into the footballing abyss.

The midfielder also lists Reading, Bristol City and Watford amongst his former employees, but will surely now have to bite the bullet and get himself match-fit if he wants to play anything like League Football again.
