Caskey looked back to his best at the weekend when he gave a much improved performance in the win over QPR. His off the ball work seemed much improved and got forward much more to help The Magpies attack.

After some lacklusture performances earlier in the season Caskey was dropped to the bench but has come back into the side and given some good performances. He had good games against Mansfield & Colchester before being suspended.

Billy Dearden admitted he has worked hard with the former Reading player in training to up his work rate when The Magpies don't have the ball. Dearden also said he had no problems with Caskey's attacking play and said when on form he is one of the best midfielders in Divison 2.

Magpies fans will be hoping for another strong performance from Caskey this weekend when Notts travel to playoff chasing Tranmere Rovers.
