He has been on trial at Brammel Lane for around 2 weeks now, and after picking up an injury in a reserve game a few weeks ago, he will be aiming to get a full game under his belt this time and impress former Notts boss Warnock.
Billy Dearden was set to recall Cas back for Saturday's game with Plymouth due to the injury crisis at Meadow Lane, but Warnock wanted to have another look Cas.
"Marcel Cas will play in another reserve game for Sheffield United on Wednesday evening," Dearden told the Evening Post.
"We were going to recall him to be part of the squad on Saturday but United wanted to have another look at him, so we will see what happens."
