Carling Cup Draw Tomorrow

The first round draw takes place tomorrow – Thursday 8th July 2004 at 9.15am.
The Magpies will be hoping for a money spinning tie, following on from last season’s success in the League Cup, which eventually led to a trip to  | Carling Cup game v Chelsea, Oct 2003 |

Stamford Bridge, the home of Premiership top dogs Chelsea when 3,000 Notts County fans made the trip down the M1 to witness the 4-2 defeat, despite levelling the score to 2-2 at one point.
Notts will be in the un-seeded category of the Northern section for tomorrow’s draw and could face any of the teams below, including relegated Premiership side Leeds United and local Championship rivals Derby County and Nottingham Forest.
