Winner: Butcher's header was the only goal of the game.
A 75th minute winner from top-scorer, Richard Butcher, ensured that Notts progressed into the second round of the FA Cup.

The midfielder headed home a swinging cross from Matthew Hamshaw - County's top assister - in a game that they dominated for the majority, following an early pressure from the hosts.

Paul Mayo could have put the Magpies ahead earlier but his back post effort was driven over.

A number of grasping saves from Russell Hoult certified that his team avoided the potential banana skin and cemented their place in the second round.

The draw for the next stage of the competition is today at 12.55 on ITV1. County are ball number four.
