Broughy to undergo knee op

Brough will have the operation later this week, as he has had the problem for some time now.

The news means that Notts could be without Brough's services for about 5 weeks.

Manager Billy Dearden told the Evening Post: "Michael's damaged his cartilage and we need to get it sorted out.

"It's likely we'll be without his services for several weeks."

Brough has had a frustrating season so far, following on from his big breakthrough year least season.

He has also been singled out for criticism by Notts fans, who are frustrated by his negative attitude.

Let's hope the knee op sorts things out and Broughy can come back fully fit to a team no longer in administration.
