The tough tackling midfielder has come on leaps and bounds this season, showing more consistancy in his play and has picked up 3 caps for the Wales U21 side during the season.

His contract is up at the end of the season along with Richard Holmes, Saul Deeney, Craig Ireland, Danny Stone and Ian Richardson and he has already expressed his desire to stay with Notts.

"I do want to stay at Notts County, I don't want to go anywhere," Brough told the Evening Post.

"I love it at the club and I would love to sign a new contract.

"I haven't thought about going anywhere else.

"I would like to sort something out that will keep me here.

"Although, with the situation as it is at the club, I know that won't happen immediately."
He added.

He has made 29 appearances this season, scoring just the 1 goal, coming against this weekends opponents Colchester, back in November.
