Paul Heffernan - Had Given Notts The Lead

With Notts leading 1-0 at the time, thanks to Paul Heffernans goal, the game had to be abandoned after heavy rain made the Ashton Gate pitch unplayable and after 49 minutes the game was called off.

Both Billy Dearden and City boss Danny Wilson had no problems with the Referee's decision to abandon the game, as the surface made the players quite unsafe with the chance of a serious injury quite high.

The game will kick off at 7:45pm
